No. Unlike therapists, trauma recovery coaches are not licensed mental health professionals. Coaching is a support model, while therapy is a medical model.
Think of therapists as trauma first responders or surgeons, and Certified Trauma Recovery Coaches as trauma support specialists — helping you move from surviving to thriving.
As your Somatic Trauma Recovery Coach, I:
✅ Support you in reaching your own recovery goals.
✅ Use modalities like EFT/Tapping, IFS/Parts Work, inner child work, Polyvagal regulation, the Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP), HeartMath, mindfulness, and more.
✅ Work collaboratively, client-led, empowering you every step.
I do not:
Diagnose, prescribe, or pathologize trauma responses.
Work with suicidality, self-harm, or addictions unless you are supported by and referred by a clinician.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
Often called Tapping— EFT is a mind-body method that involves gently tapping specific acupressure points on the hands, face, and body while focusing on an emotion or memory you’d like to shift.
This technique has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, calm the nervous system, ease cravings, and release limiting beliefs, fears, and phobias.
EFT is recognized by the American Psychological Association’s Division 12 Task Force on Empirically Validated Treatments and has demonstrated efficacy for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and phobias in over 150 peer-reviewed studies, including research from Harvard, Stanford, Purdue, and other major universities.

Matrix Reimprinting
This modality builds on EFT by combining it with gentle “Younger Self” visualization to reprocess and release trauma at the subconscious level—creating new, empowering memories and beliefs.
EFT basics are simple and free to learn, but for deeper or more complex issues, working with a trained Clinical EFT and Matrix Reimprinting practitioner provides the personalized support and safety needed for lasting transformation.

Sometimes one part of you wants to move forward while another holds back — like wanting to grow but feeling scared. IFS- or Parts Work-Informed coaching helps you uncover and understand these conflicting parts so you can reconnect with yourself and move forward.
Client-led, trauma-informed, and grounded in your personal goals.
Supports connection with Self, inner wisdom, or core values.
Helps you act in alignment with what matters most to you.
Healing is possible because we are wounded, not broken. With support and resourcing, your parts can communicate, integrate, and guide you toward freedom and authenticity.

All services are provided remotely via Zoom. Many clients appreciate the convenience and added sense of felt safety that come from meeting within the comfort and privacy of their own home. While everyone’s experience is unique, remote sessions often make it easier to access and process emotions thanks to the familiarity and safety of home surroundings.

Healing from complex trauma often involves:
Learning what safe, supportive connection feels like.
Re-regulating the nervous system.
Reconnecting with your body, emotions, and Self.
I hold a safe, nonjudgmental, client-led space. Together, we may use tools like EFT/Tapping, IFS/Parts Work, inner child work, Polyvagal regulation, mindfulness, breathwork, guided imagery, and trauma-responsive movement.
You’ll never be asked to share more than you’re comfortable with. Talking about trauma is not always necessary for healing — your comfort and pacing always come first.
